What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is when your eyelash is curled from the base to the top so that you can see the full length of your lashes. All lashes have a natural shape to them but a lash lift alters this shape via a tiny curling rod and a lifting solution.
At The Little Parlour, this treatment involves a consultation with one of our beauty therapists to determine what style you are looking to achieve. Our therapist will then choose a suitable rod size to shape your lashes.
The process begins with your eye area being cleansed and a silicone rod placed onto the eyelid. The natural lashes are then curled over and attached to the rod with an adhesive to set the eyelashes. A lifting lotion is then applied to allow the lashes to shape around the curling rod, followed by a setting lotion that sets the lash shape.
The appointment takes approximately 45-60 minutes. We also require a patch test 48 hours before your appointment to ensure you don’t have a reaction to the solutions we use.
